The Manager A at Client F finally let me delete the account like a month ago. Sorry User A, I do not care.

My wife asked me if we should look at doing home automation in our next house. Now I need to research home automation and smart homes to see if I can do that with open source software.

If you can, wire all of it yourself.... and include all your windows and doors. any cameras and wireless AP. Unless you trust the person doing it..

Yep, we're looking at a house that would be a complete gut. So I'd be able to a lot of the wiring in the walls myself.

Yep, we're looking at a house that would be a complete gut. So I'd be able to a lot of the wiring in the walls myself.
Sounds like a fun job,... I would like to do something like that to an old firehouse, or bank... but it's unlikely to happen.. Getting to old for jobs like that....
