What Are You Doing Right Now

Runs in my family. It's a relatively common joint problem. Basically you have some trauma likely that causes it to unhinge. Once it starts happening the ligaments that hold it in place because looser and it becomes easier to have it come out the next time. The TMJ is a hook joint, not like a ball and socket. So the ability to have it slip out is far higher than say a shoulder or an elbow. But it is also much easier to put in back.

I can not imagine how painful that would be.
Not that anyone would want surgery - but wouldn't it be possible to shorten the ligaments to 'tighten' them up?As for the WAYDRN? - moving data from one laptop to another, hanging out on ML, trying to keep what little sanity I have left...
It's not working.

I've never been offered surgery as a solution and really, with as bad as it is, I would rather live with it, at least for now, than have surgery. It is not going to kill me and it is not going to "spread" or anything. It's not like cancer, it's just a bad joint. So worst case scenario and my jaw breaks and is stuck in some awful position... that's the worst of it. I might be unable to eat solid food again but hey, that's a diet plan right there. And the chances that I could do surgery not and not later if it gets worse is low. So waiting to see seems to be a good idea.

Or we could just wire your jaw shut and call it a day...

I actually liked the third one the best of the three. The second one is undoubtedly the worst of the three, but still wasn't horrendous.

Third one is good, I like the first one by far the best, though. Of course, to me, it was a standalone movie for a long time. We had no idea that a sequel was coming and for a few years, there wasn't one. It was a classic before the sequels were made. (They didn't know that they were making sequels either which is why they had to reshoot the ending with Elisabeth Shue who replaced the original actress.)
So hard to compare the follow alongs with the one that existed all by itself.

The original was good but I always loved the Old West theme of the third one.
