What Are You Doing Right Now
-
Maybe I'm the only one who is having issues. I'm signed into Windows 10 with Azure AD. I went to the store and signed in with my email address and password and it worked. However when I tried to download an app, I typed my email address in, and then typed in my password and it tells me the password is incorrect. My password expired and I changed it about a week ago (and signed into the store with the new one). If I type in the old password, then it acts like it's going to download the app, but then I get a notification that says "We encountered an error. Please try signing in again later." I have no idea what's going on.
I guess another question is, why do I have to sign into the store at all? I thought that's what Azure AD was for. I don't have to sign into Office 365.
Again, I'm experimenting so maybe I'm just not doing anything right.

I'm "working" from home due to the storm.... I took a 2.5 hr lunch and then opened my work email if that counts for anything.
I skip lunch when working from home. If I am forced to go to the office I take a three hour lunch to make a point of it. Never the opposite.
I normally drink when at the office too, but not at home

I'm enjoying a croissant and an espresso at a cafe, after being stood up by Amazon for my technical phone interview I think big companies need to understand that EVERYONE'S time is valuable, not only their's.
Did they ever respond at all?

Just got caught up on all of the posting both here and on SW. One thing that is nice about living in Eastern Europe is how easy it is to start the day!

Just got in to work, wearing my usual attire of 3/4's and a polo shirt...I got some weird looks when I was clearing the snow off my car this morning...

Think I've finally crack Fog Server did a test upload and deploy yesterday.
So in the process of uploaded the "Master Gold" image for the Windows 7 POS machines. If that works onto a Windows 10 Image

Celebrating our anniversary with dinner from Pizza Hut and an early bed time so that I can drive down @coliver's way tomorrow to work at a client site.
Be careful on the drive down it is supposed to be rainy the entire way.

I ran into this trying to escape a file location in Windows using an Apache Tomcat web server.... there were like 5 backslashes before you got the file location.

Once saw a post on SW about someone naming their server and several folders Backslash so their folder path was "\Backslash\Backslash\backslash" or something similar...try explaining that one to someone over the phone..

That's almost as bad as /root which is called root root.

Installing MS SQL Server.

Trying to fix a client's problem of Server '08R2 not shutting down properly....Once I actually get access to the server, that is.

I have always found that the plug works reliably

@Reid-Cooper True...but the rest of the VM environment may not take kindly to that approach. heh
-
VM, even easier, virtual power off from the console.

Fighting with turning Autocad 2015 into a Remote App... The 90's called and want their hard coded paths in the registry back... Ugh.
-
@Reid-Cooper True...but not catching the root cause. And with this particular client...there's a lack of communication between their teams. But, need access to the server first. Tons of fun.
