I personally drive a Veloster. It's not fast and doesn't have a lot of power, but I can get 40mpg and has some nice features.

What do you rich people drive?

Rich people does not cover me but..

2011 Chevy Cruze, 6MT 1.4T "eco" model. 5L/100km on the highway if I do my part.

Trying to dump it for a jeep but I can't get a decent price for either.

                I have a Prius - 40+ MPG, 2011 with nearly 70K on it.

98 Explorer, 220k miles (gets 40 rods to the hogshead, and that's the way I likes it!).

Really need something more efficient now that my commute is 45 min+ each way, but I'm keeping the truck so I can get a boat.

I dare you to drive one and call it a sports car after lol

It's the "vanilla" of vehicular transport. Boring. Predictable. Easy. Reliable. Cheap.

It's WAY more sporty than what I normally drive and much more expensive. MUCH more. Like $10K more.

If I had the money I wouldn't care. I would like to get another truck, but I can't justify the cost right now.

@scottalanmiller I just looked it up, it's almost identical power/weight ratio lol - true the cruize is more money but it's also bigger.

Smaller on the inside, fits only smaller people. It's a luxury compared to the practicality of the cheap Spark 🙂

We just bought a 2014 Subaru Forester got a really good price on it. Gonna get yelled at... but we bought for the near future when kids are on the way.

I had to buy a car for the very first time in order to secure my current IT job... a 2004 Mazda 3. It just hit 200k miles a month or so ago, so we'll see what happens now!

I'm looking for a Subaru Forester myself for stuff like camping/road trips, but who knows when that will happen.

Been lucky - otherwise I would not have a vehicle. But the current IT-mobile is a 2005 Honda Ridgeline with 178,000 miles on it. First set of tires (tyres) got 95,000 odd miles off them... I'm on my second set now,.. and will drive them off the truck as well.

Ditto... however not having to deal with the clutch is nice sometimes.

Mazda was never really on my radar for awesome, long-lasting car manufacturers but they sure are now!

I'm just hoping the previous owner ran it up and down the interstate for most of its miles as the car salesman said... It seems to be in pretty good condition despite the 200k miles, so there's a slight possibility that they were actually telling the truth.
