Wireless Router for SOHO
-
I am looking to replace our very old WGR614v7 router and a USB wireless adapter. Our phones support ac Wi-Fi, my tablet supports N Wi-Fi. I need to get a new USB wireless adapter anyway and a new router would give me GB finally to my desktops! I am looking for your suggestions. Thanks!

Get a ubiquiti AP and a router and you'll be much happier.

I'm sold on the EdgeRouter X for $49 and it looks like I will be purchasing UniFi AP as the $69 price is pretty good. I might need a cheap 8 port gigbit switch...any ideas?

I like the Edge Router X and The UniFi AP http://www.amazon.com/Ubiquiti-EdgeRouter-Advanced-Gigabit-Ethernet/dp/B00YFJT29C/ http://www.amazon.com/Ubiquiti-Networks-UniFi-Enterprise-System/dp/B004XXMUCQ/ Well less then $200 for both.
