I'm debating if I should drop the extra on the System Builder Plus versus the System builder ($525 vs $225 or on sale, $367.50 vs $157.50)

I would. If it gets you extra features for not that much more, it makes sense to me. Even if you don't use the extra features right now, it gives you that option in the future.

NB: I've never used FreePBX, but I don't mind paying a little more to get more features for stuff -- especially if they are features you actually can (or want to) use!

Considering the price break, I'm really considering buying the more expensive one to show support more than any other reason...

If I understand you correctly - it's to show my support in their efforts for making such a great product, and mostly giving it away free.

Is it just me, or is the Q-Xact reporting module no longer listed on their site?

The System Builder Plus includes Park Pro and that feature alone is worth it.

Especially because of the discount I did buy the Plus.

I also found the Q-Xact Reports though it goes by the name FreePBX-CM-Q Xact 25 Year License.
Normally $795, today it was only $556.50... even better deal than before.

Nice find - are you going to try and use your FreePBX box as a chat server as well? I'd be interested to know how that goes.

There has been talk about using a chat function at my office in the past, but in the same breath it was mentioned how catty all the women there (by the boss, who is a woman) and pretty much dismissed.

Furthermore, our EHR recently enabled global chat as well, so we'd probably use that instead.
