What are you using as a free alternative to Microsoft Publisher?
What are you looking to do? For Publisher style functions, I'm faster and better in normal Word or even Powerpoint than anything I could do in Publisher.
create flyers
Let me know if you'd like any help. I've been using Word in place of Publisher for years, and Excel in place of Access.
Publisher is really easy to use for a casual user like me. I wish I had it in my Office suite, but I don't.

@IRJ There's Scribus (http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Scribus) ?
I will +1 Scribus... but it takes some changing in how you think about this type of file/editing to get it working correctly.

Just realized that I have it as part of my O365 sub... another product I don't really use. Although my company does extensively.

That's what we would use.

Yup, same here.

I don't pay for the local install of Office through O365, so I don't have it.

I have Publisher but don't use it. Scribus is okay for basic stuff. I really like QuarkXpress for print jobs though. Many would as Adobe InDesign is better I guess but I like Quark better.
