HP iLO Alerts?

just setting iLO AlertMail (iLO4)
I want to receive alerts for disk faults/errors. Do I have to go and tick those alerts anywhere, or does iLO just send alerts about anything and everything?
I know I can send test email messages, but is it possible to send test alert messages??

iDRAC, sure, iLO, not so much.
Should just be plug in the proper information for your email service and a valid account to send as.
