We were able to show him that it was the network and he wants us to fix it.

His company decided has stated they don't support firewalls/networks... so I have no idea how they plan to do anything for the customer. Additionally, WR has told us they outsourced their own firewall support, so they have zero inhouse support ability.

@dashrender oh, well then just turn off any dhcp services and use the router from Spectrum. That's business class, right?

My coworker and manager are on site this morning, I dont know what they are actually doing, though..
but You're correct, I dont know how we can fix someone else's network. -
@wrcombs Isn't the network your customers network? So if they say, "here are the credentials do whatever you need to fix this issue" how can you not fix the issue?
Is the third party vendor going to yell at "you"? They shouldn't they should yell at the customer.

"Then we hold Liability for the network once we touch it " -a quote from my manager, this is the same conversation I had with my manager when it first started..

The third party gave me full access, already, but again see the above quote.

Your manager is an idiot.
And I get that - which is why you document everything you change, what the setting was before (or take a backup before making changes..) and then revert back if need be... We suggest ideas (like this one) and get shot down because he thinks this will fix it

I finally was told what was going on :
They are on site messing with the network - but only the physical attributes (layer one) - they're removing 2 APs from the switch to test. (because there are 4 on site, and 2 of them are 6.5 feet away from each other... Why? I have no idea) -

Perfect, more APs means more power and more devices that can be supported. Has anyone checked to make sure the APs are set to full power, non auto-tuning?
