He was not impeached. They tried though.
He was impeached twice. He was not convicted and removed.
I see, accused, process started, but not charged or found guilty of anything.

Exactly, (as you and most people here know but not the general pubic it seems) is IMHO synonymous with the word indictment. Just charges and nothing else. Although some think impeachment/indictment = guilty.

Irregardless of which President was the cause for the proceedings, you have a severe lack of understanding of what the process actually is.

Irregardless isn't a word. The correct word is Regardless.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irregardless
According to the Oxford English Dictionary (OED), irregardless was first acknowledged in 1912 by the Wentworth American Dialect Dictionary as originating from western Indiana,[7] though the word was in use in South Carolina before Indiana became a territory.[1] The usage dispute over irregardless was such that, in 1923, Literary Digest published an article titled "Is There Such a Word as Irregardless in the English Language?" The OED goes on to explain the word is primarily a North American colloquialism.[7]

My apologies. Had multiple replies going on....
IMHO, the word impeachment is synonymous with the word indictment. Basically, just stating charges against a specific party. No trial has taken place and the accused is still innocent. Although some think impeachment/indictment = guilty.
That seems a bit more coherent.

Isn't impeachment basically just an indictment? i.e. still have to have a trial to prove they are guilty?
Nevermind - I'm behind the JB train I see. -

Biden to sign 10 executive orders to tackle Covid-19
President Joe Biden is set to sign 10 executive orders to boost the fight against Covid which has ravaged the US.
Vaccination will be accelerated and testing increased. Emergency legislation will be used to increase production of essentials like masks. In a break with former President Donald Trump, the policy stresses a national strategy rather than relying on states to decide what is best. The moves comes a day after Mr Biden was sworn in as the 46th president. The Trump administration was widely accused of failing to get to grips with the pandemic. In terms of total deaths from coronavirus, the US is the worst-hit country with more than 406,000 lives lost according to Johns Hopkins University. Nearly 24.5 million have been infected. -

Can't wait for what's to come...
