Better than nothing, I guess. Sad, though.

I really liked them. Now it is a taste from my childhood that I can never get back 😞

It used to be the taste of Easter.

I never liked eating them anyway. Although, I did like their ads.

Not for me. I know it was for many though.

For those that haven't seen the ads, I found a collection of them for you 🙂 :

I don't know what they used to be like in the US, but over here they used to have a runny middle (like an egg), so if you weren't careful it would leak onto your fingers. But about 20 years ago or so they replaced that with a firm, overly sweet, disgusting centre. So they were ruined a long, long time ago for me.

That overly sweet centre is what we have had stolen from us.

It's always been that super sweet centre here in the US, though. I've been eating them for nearly forty years and they have always been the same. But Cadbury's in the US has never been the same as in the UK so that is not a surprise.

Wow.. has it really been 40 years? yeah I guess it has been (I'm almost 40 now)..

I guess I'll try the new one at least once, but it does suck they've changed them.

Who knows, maybe in 5 years, they'll bring them back as a special, like Pepsi bringing back cane sugar instead corn syrup in Throwback Pepsi.
