I always report them and also downvote them just because it's better than posting "Go away sad sack spammer"

Flagged Contentunder your profile popup?
Also, check you settings. Under Notifications & Sounds, there's an option you can change so that you get notified whenever a post is flagged.

Dont ban them, just delete the accounts when they are blatant. Nukes the account and the post.

It does. Currently he has been banning, so they stop posting but the post remains.
