Is anyone using any of the Ubiquiti security camera and their software NVR for their residence? How does it perform, anything worth noting?

I'm seeing a USB cord, I assume this means USB to a power block. Do you like the power options? Any option for PoE?

Which would mean where-ever I want this unit I would need to have an outlet within so many feet. Hrm. .

And it is $20 for the base unit. The PAN is $30. I have the WyzeCam2

I suppose but I also don't want to make my own ends (or run electrical to put these up). PoE would be nice. .

@jaredbusch on your outdoor cameras I assume you're using that third party cover?

I guess the simple answer is, run power to your attic and then use these.

@dustinb3403 said in Unifi Video: @jaredbusch on your outdoor cameras I assume you're using that third party cover? No, it is jsut under the awning, so cannot get wet.
-
@jaredbusch did you add an additional card to each camera?
-
@dustinb3403 said in Unifi Video: @jaredbusch did you add an additional card to each camera? I will be because the auto AWS alert upload has a 5 minute cooldown. I missed catching the neighbor boy smashing the garden because of that.

Now, not to go totally south. I love the UniFi cameras too.
