When if first joined ML there were no spammers (at least to my knowledge) where did they all come from?
Why do companies push their employees to spam and such on Thread websites?
Sounds like a great way to push people away from you product. -
Best sales people are IT folks or people that are knowledgeable with the product.
I dont know why companies hire sales instead, and to give you an example in one of my previous company the sales person would ask me IT question I provide answers, she post solutions then recommends product at the end as an IT expert.

Every experience I've ever had with sales were they bluntly lied about everything to make it seem better than it was.
So why would you trust anyone in sales ever? -
You shouldn't use sales for solutions planning.
You do all that first, then you reach out to sales only to purchase something you already decided on through prior planning.

And it only takes one sucker to click through and make that phone call to earn a profit.

The site has gained about 30% traffic increase in the last 2-3 months. Our "on the spammers' radar" factor has skyrocketed.

Sounds like a great way to push people away from you product.If you have a garbage product that no one wants, the people you push away were never going to be your customers. People who buy products solely because it's the first hit on Google are people who are total suckers for spam. Spam (email spam that is) is intentionally bad for that reason - they actually target idiots and want smart people filtered out to save time!

Yeah, some quick math...
A full time spammer can be hired overseas for $300/mo. That's a MONTH. And that's high, $200 is definitely plausible. All they have to do is join websites, post pre-written spam copy. Simplest job ever. They can spam maybe 100 communities a day. That's 2,800 a month. Out of 2,800 posts, it would take maybe an average of five "customers" to cover the cost of that for really cheap software.
Easy math.
