              Broadcast storm at work yesterday

What was the final outcome on that?

Hard to know exactly because we don't have access to the ESXi host to look at the logs (vendor set it up for the VoIP contractor). It seems like the host machine repaired it's raid (has to be Raid 1) and during that time the VoIP phones kept attempting to access it, flooding the network somehow. We are currently using Cisco 2900 switches (10/100). Once the ESXi host finished what it was doing (seemingly repairing it's raid) we rebooted the switches and everything was fine.

I'm wondering if the VoIP traffic was actually enough to cause this though even though our switches are shitty.

Also "We can't tell the difference between an Armored Personal Carrier and a Main Battle Tank."

Only country that's every done a combination of the two is Israel, and that one only had room for 4 people besides the tank crew. One of these things is not like the other.
