Meraki Replacement Plan

Almost $1300 for the MR52 from amazon.
Which means I could get 4 AP's of Ubiquiti for the cost of a single AP from Meraki! Meraki license appears to be included.

They carry it. You just need to get a quote from them first. I would ask a reseller.

Sure, I would have this pricing ready if someone in the organization wants to expand the wireless footprint in the future.

Sure, I would have this pricing ready if someone in the organization wants to expand the wireless footprint in the future.
That's the plan, at least. If we need to expand, is it worth purchasing another Meraki unit (and then extending the licensing on everything), doubtful.

Hah, no it probably isn't. Considering you could replace the entire wireless infrastructure for the price of two comparable Meraki APs.

Yeah I doubt the cost of extending the licensing alone would be worth it, considering the cost of Meraki's kit. . .
Much less purchasing the hardware.

Would the ER-Lite really be sufficient?
It doesn't have any way to mount it to a rack either, not that that's a big deal. But it would be nice for easy placement.

There are rack mount kits.
I use this one: http://www.ispsupplies.com/KAM-Fab-UB-RM1You can tell from the beveled design, that is was made for the original ToughSwitch and original ERL. But the bevel is just on the plate. not behind where it would impact the mount.

You are buying a router, you really only need 1 LAN port. I recommend the ER8 only because I see the ERL and ERPoE in heavy use scenarios with 50-100 users pushing 50% CPU or more. But these are burst environments, not all day use.
The ER8 would give you more processing power. If you want SFP, the ERPro is the ER8 + SFP.
If you think you need 10GB, then sure, the Infinity is a nice looking unit, but I do not believe it is out yet.
