That's not a mess, it's a perfect level of entropy.
It is so perfect it can't last: monday a new girl arrives and I've to free the other desk... filling up mine more and more!

Heard a lot of mixed things about them. One company I worked for used them and I had bad experirences /shrug

Correct. Some hospitals have lead walls over near xray etc which completely destroys your signal as an example

I was thinking more towards temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, etc.

Which part do you not want me to repeat?
That IT people support "electronics". The part that lay people get wrong. When IT repeats that, it reinforces it or even justifies it. How can we expect non-tech people to understand who is bench, who is an electrician, who is a developer or who is IT if we blend them all together ourselves? It's a habit to break that we all do. But doing it can help lead to problems where the IT person is told to fix the sprinkler because "it's technical." <-- real issue
