Used it once now. give me a day or so.
I have a Guide to post for Nextcloud 11 on Fedora 25 so I will need to make screenshots.

@JaredBusch Greenshot is nice on Windows. I use Shutter in Linux.

There is no setting in Shutter to bind it to the Print Screen key on my keyboard
I'll have to go google that up.

ok been using this a few days now and it is great. a lot of useful features and does almost everything I need.
Just need to figure out how to bind the prtscn key to it.

I'll have to download it. I never use anything other than the built in Gnome/KDE utilities.

that is not what cinnamon does by default. by default it just puts a screenshot in your picture directory.

So to make this work like I wanted
Click Menu
Click Preferences
Click Keyboard
Click add custom shortcut
Give it a name and the command to use.
man shutterto find the switch you prefer
Goto System -> Screenshots and Recording -> Take a Screenshot
Double click on the Print binding and press backspace to clear it.
Or go to the custom shortcut and let it take it by force.
You have successfully rebound your print screen key to a non default function.
