      https://arstechnica.com/science/2017/04/uk-first-coal-free-power-day/

The UK has not gone without coal power for a day since it was fired up in 1882. 135 years of burning coal is a really long time.

Good for the UK. The two new nuclear plants will help make these days more common.

If they're one of the new types that are impossible to have a meltdown, then they're doing it right.

Define slow news day.... BBC Africa's #3 headline today is that a cop flipped off a minister.

So this is who makes America's bombers...... I'd be worried if needing to depend on that.

Most places that is likely illegal. Beneficial or not you're intentionally changing somebody else machine

It seems to be working pretty well for many American CEOs.

Amazon might have new drive tech that is a bit interesting.

Very gross technology but I see the good it could provide.

And then the darker side of me says Darwinism is losing the battle that nature built. . .

This is not news. Person was denied entry without a visa due to travel to another country.

Person could still travel to US with a visa if the choose to get one.

This law change was implemented in 2015.
