@JaredBusch I started watching Naruto about a year ago. I've thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not that it is much better, but she discovered Kuromukuro last night while at a sleep over and they apparently binged season one.
-
@JaredBusch May have to check that out sometime.

@JaredBusch Yes, blue. And we're crawling in Chardok.
I did some coding for a few years for PEQ. Never worked on the P99 team. But they were good about sharing code back for core stuff.

Outdoor movie night... Beer, bratwurst, and the Princess Bride.
Nice, haven't seen that in a while. We've been holding off till the eldest is old enough to appreciate it.

@JaredBusch that purse is $150? WTF. . . .
You obviously do not shop purses much.
That one was from Vera Bradley.
That's @dominica's brand, too. Both of our girls have VB stuff. My wife's entire family is addicted to those.

Weekend work...
Big R730xd Hyper-V server upgrade from 2012 R2 datacenter to 2016 datacenter. About 60 VMs
Most can be shut down, but some need to be failed over to other hosts.
Waiting on the SSD read/write cache to drain.
Are you upgraded the underlying hypervisor? Or upgrading all 60 VMs?
-
Doing some AetherStore testing on the Scale HC3 cluster again. Moving workloads around to control what storage they are on and which nodes they are on for a different kind of test.
-
Box of old magazines that my dad found that is being thrown out. I hate not being able to keep this stuff but, no real value to it.

Polyhedron and RPGA papers.
I finally broke down and got rid of my crates of Dragon magazines when I moved to Chicago. They had been in my basement untouched for 10 years.

Same here. Loads of Dragon and Dungeon magazines. I used to love getting to read those.

Just the hypervisor. Still a lot of work, not yet finished. Hit a few setbacks, but nothing major. Probably only a total of an hour more worth of work to go.

Oh okay, not so bad then.

Figuring out why the Backup Exec isn't talking to VCenter.
Because it isn't Veeam?
Because it's Backup Exec and not "talk-to-vCenter Exec"?
And certainly not RestoreExec.
Turns out the new guy changed some pathing inside of vmware that left BExec bereft of data to backup since they weren't where they were expected. The error message from BE was less than helpful.

Hanging out with the wife.

Power outage this morning in our data center. The electrical contractor did a thing that tripped a circuit breaker, and we're still recovering. ZFS (freenas) is the only problem right now.

As is expected. Those are always the ones causing issues. What problem are they having at the moment?
-
I have no idea. I'm not working that problem.
