Alienware is good stuff, but not my first choice. I find that it is often overpriced. Obviously, $199 would be a steal. But it is literally too good to be true so something has to be wrong.

Just convinced a friend to pick up the non-ROG version. It's the same laptop without the branding.

I got mine last August 2016. So I've nearly had it a year now and it's still like brand new after using it every day.

I've been on RoG for years now. After having multiple gaming machines artifact due to heat I started looking for something that could vent better. When I found RoG I was floored. Thankfully I was able to get mine used for quite a bit less than new. Unfortunately it is starting to show its age.

I'm not sure why the price of it went back up to nearly $1500... I remember after a few months I got it I wish I had waited because the price really dropped down...
Looks like it's back up again now.

Razer products are generally well built but severely overpriced. Of course I own three Razer mice and a Razer keyboard.

You can afford a $4k USD laptop? They look nice, but you're paying a premium for the form factor, and losing quite a bit of heat management.

What are you doing with them all? I dont' know what I'd do with a second similar laptop.

Does it really need to be a laptop? There are use cases for sure. @scottalanmiller travels the world so it makes complete sense for him. Does it for you though?
