Some MS Office Apps Unable to Sync to Office 365
-
I'm having some issues with Office 365. When working from my iPhone or from Linux using in browser apps, everything works. Windows 10 is able to authenticate to Office 365's Azure AD without a problem. The OneDrive for Business on my iPad is able to work fine. But OneNote on the same iPad shows that everything is connected, but fails to connect to Office 365 and asks for creds over and over unable to connect. On Windows 10 the MS Office 2016 installation is unable to connect to Office 365 as well, and just fails to sync no matter what I do.
Any idea how to troubleshoot? Clearly Office 365 is mostly working, as Linux and the iPhone are fine. But why would Microsoft's own apps be having so many issues connecting and how to do change things to allow them to work?

Are you sure that you are connecting with the correct account information? The reason I ask is that I've previously seen where O365 connected with a Microsoft ID instead of my work account.
Gets confusing when these are created with similar email addresses....

I've saw this before. Open up Credential Manager and delete anything related to Office. Don't just edit and verify, actually delete it. When you sign in again, it'll store a new copy. Happens sometimes with password changes or a bad sync between password changes.
Can find it in Control Panel or just search for it.
Hence why Apple products are working OK... They don't have Credential Manager. Same thing happens with Keychain on Apple PCs sometimes. But the mobile devices obviously don't have Keychain.
