The current schedule for the meeting is 3pm -5pm (we have to be fully out of the office we are using by 5:30 or so).
Scott will be speaking
We will have a quick remote presentation by Pertino
Unitrends will be sending some swag!I am sure there will be some who would like to hang out after, Some of my team will be in the city till around 9pm before we head back to Western NY. Other I have no idea what they are doing. Scott might be free to do something Sunday but I am not sure.
You folks aren't staying the night?
-
Nope wish we could but have things I am scheduled for on Sunday (Both Art and I are on worship team and Art has band practice that afternoon).

@FiyaFly, is this your first time in NYC? Could you take a train back the next day?
-
I'll be headed out of the city and back home as fast as I can manage. I'm guessing that will be 9pm, from the sound of it.
-
@alexntg Gotta keep a good eye on my budget. Really depends on the price of the train and staying a night in the city.

Quite understandable. I'm on the fence at the moment. I'd hate to lose a possibly fun Sunday there, but at the same time don't want to waste money on a hotel for no reason.

Stay in Newark, always cheap.

That is what I was going to before my travel changed to a flight. Not worth it to me to fly to LGA then turn around and take transit to the other side of the city.
-
@JaredBusch Don't actually consider that, I was being silly. Newark is scary. Really scary. Like East St. Louis scary.
-
Yes. Avoid Newark. What a crap-hole.

East St. Louis doesn't scare me. Then again I live 8 miles from it.

I lived on the downtown intersection of Newark. It should most definitely scare you.

And Pertino is not only sponsoring the event for food but also sending me a Nexus 7 to give away! Thank you Pertino!
-
How many people are going? There are only about 100 active ML users worldwide, so I guess there are others going to who don't currently post on here?
-
We have 10 solid and 5 maybes.
-
Don't forget to get my your email addresses via chat so that you can join the google hangout!

Speaking of that, maybe with the changes coming in iOS 8 Pertino will finally be able to get iOS devices on board.
-
FYI: Anyone coming into the City early in the day let me know. @Katie, @FiyaFly , @art_of_shred and I will be heading into the city in the morning to do some site seeing.

That would be nice.

Add me to that list. I was just going to randomly wander if no one else was around. I haven't been in NYC since 2006. Always better to be with others.
