when shopping for equipments.. do you look our for Tax or no Tax ?!
-
Our company has been using CDW, SHI, PCM, etc for all our equipment for the past years. Now that I am in charge of researching for pricing, We have to work around budget so I cannot go spending spree on these. I usually goes for Newegg, Amazon, etc as they are easier for me. Especially Newegg is a Free Shipping (premier account) + Tax is not applicable in our state.
So do you account for tax when buying equipment? Say... Monitors. Why? Why not?

In the UK, we as a business can claim back the sales tax with VAT registration, so our price will be X + 20%. Other businesses can get the 20% back.
America, I don't know what goes on.

No. You're supposed to pay the sales tax for out of state purchases when you file taxes. So any business is going to be paying those taxes weather you see them itemized on the invoice or not.
Edit: At least in the U.S.
