New Telephony solution UK
-
Hey I am looking at getting some initial options together for a telephony solution for about 60 users split 40 - 20 across two offices at the moment but looking to increase users by 40% by the end of year.
At the moment they have an Avaya IP office 500 with isdn2 lines.
I am looking at Sip telephony, hosted most likely .
looking for a scalable solution that is cost worthy but at the same time reliable.
The back end infrastructure has just been re done with 1Gbps switches and Vlans and Qos already sorted. Ideally wanting to use the same port for the phone and computer.
Any pointers, recommendation gladly welcome ..
thanks
stef

Though if you want a reply from sales... - Never heard back from them after you introduced me, so I went with something else.

For the sake of fairness.
My query was back in 2014
I suspect the structure has changed a fair bit. So give it a go.

Still need to figure out what happened. Obviously, aggressive sales tactics are not our strong suit.

LOL this is gold

And I need sleep as most normal humans do (ok maybe more than the average human).

Occasionally, I need more than 4 hours of sleep a night... like today... I feel like I've been run over by a bus, but the bus forgot to keep going.

I have lots of those days.

if you got an ip office why are you looking to change?
It's already a scaleable solution -

It's already a scaleable solutionCheaper to move than to support, in most cases. That it can scale doesn't mean it does so for free.

Personally, I detest the the Avaya name after many bad experiences.
I made things work, but it was not fun.
