@GlennBarley Collected some of the Twitter chatter surrounding the Apple security story - http://blog.continuum.net/continuum-top-tweets-apple-security-stance

@GlennBarley Interested to hear what others have to say on the topic.

Well, apparently John McAfee has offered to crack the phone.
I wonder if he really can.
Maybe ML should try. Be some nice publicity.
-
@BRRABill Oh yeah, I read that too. That will be interested to see develop.
-
In the thread here on ML where someone mentioned the upgrade to Outlook.com I mentioned specifically about a paid version that would allow you to use your own domain name... looks like that might be coming back.

Well, if you read what he wrote, he can't crack it. He's just said he's going to convince the people with the phone to hand over the data. Me mentioned specifically that his team, not he, would "social engineer" their way into the phone.

Yeah - hey bro - you still only get 9 tries at that shit.. on the 10th it's wiped... I don't see how that would happen unless they just get lucky.

They will never turn it over to him, a simple screw up and the data is just gone.
