What Are You Doing Right Now

I believe that I have conquered manually adding a wireless connection via powershell. It's an ugly method but it works, also it's not secure... as in the password is exposed but I can automate the process of manually adding a wireless connection now.

Wireless passwords are viewable on both Windows and OS X. Not sure what your concern is there.

I just didn't want to have the password visible in the script but it's a generic account so I guess it doesn't really matter.

in the middle of moving a load of desks round - the typical, "oh, we have 6 new starters and need their desks ready for tomorrow" type situation - and obviously only data cables for 4 pc's...did someone say future proofing? So I'm about to start my hunt for a small switch I can utilise for now...

Man, I can't tell you the number of times that has happened to me in the past. I'm glad I don't handle users in that fashion anymore.

ROFL. Your users start tomorrow? At my last job, they started two weeks ago.
