    Memory Card Weight Vs HDD Weight

      One small doubt about the memory cards we are using it in the Cell Phones.
      If we are having the data in the memory card means the weight of the memory card is vary than without data?

      If memory card weight varies means whether the HDD in the system or Server also has the same scenario?

            Adding digital data to a storage device doesn't make the device weight more... You're simply changing the state of the storage space from a 1 to a 0 or back...

            You aren't adding mass to the item...

            If you were, multiple Terabyte disk would crush servers...

              Think about a deck of playing cards. Face down they are zeros, face up their are ones. They don't get heavier depending on which side faces up.

                  What if you have dark matter data? Wouldn't it weigh more?

                  How about if you filled the SD card with death metal.... wouldn't that make it "heavy"? .... 😉
