@MattSpeller All I see is a link to their blog (just like on SW).... wouldn't mind if they posted some of the info here (HINT), I don't usually click through.
Agreed - how is a post like this anything different than click bait?
Since I assume continuum is a vendor, I'm guessing they wouldn't have ads for other people on their website, I'm not sure what is gained by having us specifically visit the website. Show the images here and if someone is interested in learning more, etc, etc then they would click the link/image/whatever to go to the site.

But I suppose this is exactly how things are being inserted into FB - just a flashy title - a gripping picture and a link to some other site (with tons of ads on it) - so why not here too?

It is EXACTLY click bait, just like they do on SW.... no engagement of the members of the community, but always plenty of "click on our new blog post" links with no other info. Vendor fail, on (at least) 2 forums. But their accounts have pictures of shiny, happy people, so we can trust them...... right? (not)

I clicked here looking for something but there was nothing. I would have settled for doughnuts. Perhaps next time, @GlennBarley ?

@RojoLoco Is there a way to embed the slideshare on here? If so, I wasn't aware of it...
Apologies if the link is upsetting to some...

@nadnerB powdered or jelly?
-
@GlennBarley I prefer powdered.

If the slideshow is pictures or pictures and text it could be included directly with an image link and the text below it. Could be all one post or a single thread with a series of posts (the later is risky as people might post responses before you finish posting the thread - the trick there that almost always works is posting it when things are slow and quickly posting twelve "placeholder" posts and then editing them with the actual content.)
If you need any help with how to get the posts to show much with content as you would like it to, let me know and I can work with you as to how to embed stuff and post the images and whatnot. I'm not available this week (travel and holiday) but next week I could chat with you and show some posting tips and tricks for that.

@scottalanmiller Thanks. I suppose we could embed the images, just seems a lot easier to post the link... But I understand that people may see it as "click bait," which we don't want to be perceived as posting. Will use this thread as a learning exprience and improve posting practices going forward. I looked as some of the other posts in "self promotion" and see how including the entire post in the thread can be done. Thanks!
