What Are You Doing Right Now

When I worked for Digital Computers the facilities manager was nice and brought me in a space heater one day (older than dirt one I might add). It caught fire and when I tried to unplug it from the wall (plug directly behind the space heater), my hair touched it and caught on fire. Went to work with long hair came home with chin length hair. After that there was a memo no SPACE HEATERS!!

Wishing I worked somewhere that I didn't want to kill myself...

Where you work has been making us a bit unhappy too.

If there's ever a sign you need to work on your resume and get outta there......

@scottalanmiller Oh, I am sure a lot of people feel that way. But until I do find a new job, or the winning lotto ticket so I can focus on finally opening my game store, I have to deal with it and not say anything negative about them. Or at least not with any proper nouns.

So I think I can do everything I normally do on my Chromebook between ChromeOS and Linux. Now what do I do with my other laptops? haha

They are fundamentally a bad idea. Very expensive to operate and relatively dangerous.
I know you feel strongly about many things, but that is something you won't be able to convince the women in my office to stop doing.

@dominica took our niece shopping for a dress for a cotillion. So I am at home watching my girls for the evening.

Trying to get as many games downloaded to the new system as possible. So much to download, so little time.

When is the next move?
Can you leave it downloading over night(s) or is your ISP there that slow...

Around January 5th. No firm date yet.
We are assuming 30 days of around the clock downloads and we will probably not get close to having everything that we want downloaded.

Why download them all? Why not just the ones you actually WANT to play.

Why would we have bought them if we didn't want to play them?

Man, I'm beat.
I need some good scotch and a cigar on my nice quiet balcony.

Got a view from that balcony? How close are you to the ocean?
-
@scottalanmiller only the finest view of the dumpsters and parking lot behind the building. It's quiet though, and no one will bother me there when I get home and throw my cellphone into the fridge "by accident".

I do that sometimes when it is too hot out to keep it from over heating.
