@scottalanmiller got me to thinking earlier this week...
Seeing if i can make something of the C@C install - Yea,.. I know,.. why bother. They failed on so many levels... But I'm not out any more than I was then... so why not.
Going to see if I can install X2Go - and see what happens.
You could have bought a 4 core 4 GB server for like $25 on Monday haha.
And they still have some (what I consider) major page formatting issue.. Like whoever is coding the pages needs a lesson on proofing the layout....sheesh.
Not exactly their priority, lol. The product itself doesn't work yet.

Oh nice. Any plans there? Or just hitting Fisherman's Wharf and walking around. My old office was on Rhode Island Avenue in the Potrero District downtown if you happen to wander by.

I don't understand how they are still in business. I wonder if there is a difference in performance between an upfront purchase and a monthly subscription?
Well as it stands, it's been about 20 minutes for the 1-2 minute build.... So - Guessing not.

Visiting dropbox's office... Then wander around... We'll spend most time north of the city in Petaluma.
Visit change.org's website and get stories of Scott's time there... Lol

Oh - and now they are letting you know every time someone (you) log in but sending a email of such.

Wow - 45 minutes and the install is still 'pending'..
So glad I don't rely on this for business use.

You can use Steam Controllers with any OS that can install Steam.

Tried playing Fable: Anniversary. So far, so good. Although it is a big confusing as there are so many buttons and they are not the usual ones.

Are you using a profile from the Steam Workshop?
-
Not intentionally, maybe it does that automatically?

Not sure, I know you can go to the Steam Workshop for most games and download layouts/profiles that people have already setup.

That's cool. I'll look into that. Right now I have a new gaming rig that is just starting to download its first games so I have very little to use right at the moment.

You got an Asus ROG, didn't you? I'm hoping it's a good machine for you!

I did and so far it is awesome. The video game capabilities that I have tested so far are great. The keyboard is awesome. The build seems good. It's Windows 10 and has crashed a few times and the Intel portions are flaky as with all things Intel - but other than those things it has been great so far.

Waiting to go home to process the last 24hrs! Today has been a hard one in work.
