Tool to find amount of writes per day
-
In light of our SSD discussion yesterday, does anyone have a suggestion on a utilities that will track the amount of writes in a day?
Scott reminded me just because your change rate at the end of the day is X, that doesn't mean your writes are only X, they could 100 times X or even more, or they could be only X - but with a tool to tell...

Server side you can run something like Dell Dpack for 48hrs.

i meant without having to go through a rep.

Contact NTG I'm pretty sure they can do it without pushing any products. Although there is a fee it is probably worth it.

No you have to go through a rep or someone like NTG. We are not a Dell Partner (as of this second at least) but do have a direct line as a Priority Consultant we get these done all the time and avoid the sales team

Do you not have a dell account? If you already have an account you can just download it from that page. I can as well as upload the file for them to make the PDF report.

Dell rarely calls us, I mean we spend tens of thousands a month with them already so that could be part of it.
