You keep saying "now" but you haven't said what you have done. What is the current status? Did you send them your data?

Yeah he did, he said he sent them all of the data that was requested, passport, etc.

        Oh sorry, I missed that.

I'm afraid that I have no idea what you can do now. Where are you located? You will need local resources for this, this is purely a legal issue locally. In the US we would file a police report and contact credit agencies.

Don't ever send your personal info to someone promising a job.

Oh wow, okay. So you have a Saudi passport? I would contact the local police and ask them if there is anything that you should do. I doubt that they can do anything but they might know who to tell, what agency. I'm afraid I know nothing of Saudi identity laws or how theft there would work.

That depends on many things, all of them unique to your local country. In the US they can do a lot of things using your identity and it is very bad. I assume most countries have better identity controls but I have no idea. You really need to talk to other Saudis about identity theft and what risks it poses there. It might be a big deal, it might not be at all.

Did you give them your home address?

                            yes

Okay, chances are the scammers do not operate in Saudi Arabia as we know that the OP was in India. This is not a scam very likely to target your home or you physically but only your identity. However, you do need to be aware that you just gave away all of your personal information including your home address and enough about you to identify you anywhere. If someone wanted to use this to rob you, for example, it would make it much easier. You've also identified yourself as a target for scams so you will likely get a lot more.

Most likely this is purely identify theft. But there is no guarantee, of course.

What do you expect any of us to tell you? We are IT people and only a couple are from your region and none (that I know of) are from Saudi Arabia. Your information has been compromised already, that can't be stopped now. Think about what information that you gave to a thief and try to imagine how they could or would use it now that they have it. That is what you are dealing with. A thief has all of your personal information. Can they use it to access bank accounts, get into your house, use your identity in other scams.... probably. Which things make sense? Definitely go and protect your accounts with additional data and things that they could not get from the data that you gave away.
