I've been using Clonezilla for 4+ years.. it's easy and fast. it has some caveats, but you can read about the requirements if you're doing anything more than restoring to the same (or same size) disk as you started with.

I'd only buy telecoms from a telecoms company. Best of luck to them with their all-encompassing we'll sell you anything approach but I fear it may not work to well for the customer when they need help. Call me skeptical.

That would be two guides for one test. Each number, in this case 70-410 refers to a single test that results in a single certification.

For that much you can pick up a card which should crank out lower end titles at extremely playable framerates with all graphics settings maxed out. I would recommend jumping up to the $200 price bracket, but if on a fixed budget, you can pick up a Radeon HD 7790 or a 7770. I've had experience with both, and I've gotten the 7770 to push 37 FPS on Battlefield 4 on Ultra settings at 1280 x 1024, but a sad 28 FPS at 1920 x 1080. The 7790 is on slightly faster on paper, but is better optimized for modern titles. If you were looking to spend a bit more, I would recommend an EVGA GTX 660 SC at $209, which will run anything but the most demanding games at Ultra settings around 60 FPS in 1920 x 1080P. If you want any further recommendations over price, brand, specific types of Video Plugins, Video Encoding/Decoding, or Chipsets, go ahead and ask!

You can open/read your email and then in the toolbar at the top under Move, choose Calendar. A calendar schedule appointment opens up with your email subject in the subject line and in the text area the body of your email. You just set your start/end time and BAM, its on the calendar. I might actually get stuff done now.

I don't think that VDI is as common as you would imagine. I've yet to hear of Fortune 500s even discussing it yet. I only work in so many, but from what I've been seeing it is a long way off from common adoption for normal users in the large space. It seems to be mostly small companies doing it. I'm sure some large companies are going that way, but I've not seen it not really heard about it. Now small companies, I hear them doing it every day.

I'm familiar with a Fortune 100 that's working on implementing VDI. Bigger companies are doing it, but it's more of a phase-in process. Because of this, it isn't as widely known. Most implementations start with a PoC at a smaller division, then grow from there.

I mentioned the idea for the machine or VM to my superior and it looks like it is a go. Sometimes I need a slap in the back of my head when it comes to real IT thinking. We went from being apart of another department doing half IT/half pricing stuff, with their budget mixed in, the pricing stuff more important, & extremely underpowered hardware. We (Finally) split off in December of last year & I helped in the process of selecting and installing shiny new machines for our users, for our registers & new servers. Of course along the entire process I've had the help & plethora of info from you awesome people. 🙂

Thanks @Dashrender. I've actually have changed most to come to my email address which will be one of the aliases forwarding to Zendesk along with support, info and something else. I will then create a new email address for myself. This way all the clients that have my email address will automatically go to Zendesk to create tickets. I just have to weed out vendors and such and send them along to my new email addy.
