after the kiddo got to bed last night I started thinking about coding a little and My future and what I want to do in IT - and I got to thinking :

Why do I want to look at Coding?

Because I want to Expand and try new things to see if I like it - I've been working with Computers/Point of sale for a year ( officially and studying/learning for at least 2.5-3 years ) It makes sense In my mind to look at other options such as Web Design (someone said something in this thread and I thought about it a little)
App building, software engineering ( i know we have a few of those guys running around here on ML) even Mark up languages like HMTL and CSS ( I dont know what careers come from those, but they're options... )
Why would I hold my self back from trying different things? (at least in mind my, Since im not exactly sure what I want to do. )
I started python, Sure.
Haven't started any projects yet, cause I dont understand Python. where as with HTML and CSS (so far) It makes sense- I put in what I want it to do and what I want to be there, and it works.
python looks like it's all math, basically up to this point.
In my mind right now - I want to try Building a website, A blog ( or something along those lines)

why?

because I want to see if I can!
I want to try different things and see what works for me and if it's something I can do- ultimately.
Under that, I feel like it'd be good practice to build a website from scratch, use mark ups and add python.
You guys have said multiple times "having a goal in mind while learning is best because if you dont you'll get distracted."

But how do I do that?

I've made a goal: I want to build a website this time.
Specifics on the website are still hazy, But I'm working on that.

SO - How do I start?
if the answer is python, skip it. because I'm already in the classes for python.

Thing is, I've been looking for a new job for about a month now, Passively looking to see what's out there. and rewriting my resume.
he walked to my desk and showed me his letter, GM is gone for the day though.

apparently - The sata connection was changed to ACHI from RAID.
in BIOS, once that was changed, It booted right up..

I have now Idea why i didnt know that.

Seems likely someone was fiddling with it.

was testing a battery back up - unplugged. it, Batter back up doesnt work - as we found out.
Then it wouldn't load after that.
Changed the Bios this morning and BAM. Its up and verifying disks.

Possibly a bad BIOS battery. Yay bench work

We're replacing the CMOS battery in it before taking it back to the site.
