We use Symantec System Recovery 2013 R2 to backup SQL databases(which i do not recommend). We successfully used it on MSSQL 2005, 2008 and 2012.

What is the output of the following commands

rails s -e production -b your.ip.add.ress

curl your.ip.add.ress

Quickly looking over the list of commands i see

chmod 0664 /home/rails/helpy/log/production.

Should be

chmod 0664 /home/rails/helpy/log/production.log

I just don't understand why it would be that way. What is there to gain by giving others bad advise.

What i find is that even when they are proven wrong they still defend it.

Unfortunately there are a lot of stubborn people out there.

Interesting, figured there would be software out there specifically for this task.

I have been trying to use Spiceworks for it, im trying to keep track of which licenses are used on which machines. But there is a extremely annoying bug where devices will flip flop.

Nothing new there.

Curious as what license management/tracking software others use.
