RE: Right Ubiquiti Gear for Travelingposted in IT Discussion
For travel, it seems like the cheapest, smallest thing that does the trick is the best option. You want something you don't care much about.

Have they ever gotten everything back and working smoothly after that massive outage in December? Seems like things were never quite back to normal.

That's definitely a weird question. He's clearly a sales guy, I'm guessing that that is not his name nor his picture.

So at 5PM today I got an email saying that there will be edocs sent over from the person I had a skype meeting with.
Interesting, you sent the warning/fyi email about 5 hours AFTER someone already sent them to me.
This is just turning humorous. They've got some mad organizational skillz there.

RE: DCs out of syncposted in IT Discussion
I think that I'm too late, but I concur that rebuilding is better than trying to find a way to recover the out of sync node - just not worth it.

I think SAM and Tim are right, sounds like once you go Offline with Offline Folders, you can't get ACL updates until something else happens.

RE: What's making ML different than other communities ?posted in Water Closet
@mobeen said in What's making ML different than other communities ?:
Here in this topic, my question is what's making ML special/different from other communities or what's the vision with this ?
One thing that makes the community a bit different is that it is fast, really fast. You post and people are responding right away, sometimes before you even navigate away from the thread. But I don't just mean that the people are fast, which they are, but the actual community is very fast. It's basically like a real time chat forum, in a way.

This is the download link for Hyper-V 2016:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-hyper-v-server-2016
It is totally free. The "evaluation" is unlimited. There is no other form of Hyper-V.
This needs to be stated again. MS makes this very confusing. It looks like this is just a trial, but it's not. There is no time limit or other limitations to the use of this software.
I agree, it's terrible that they lump it in with other actual trials.
