SD and SSD really are the same thing. Just different cases, sizes or what have you. SD are perfectly reliable and usable for all kinds of general storage needs. There is a reason why so many systems today, from Raspberry Pi to Chomebooks use nothing except SD for their storage needs.

ownCloud Server to Server File Sharingposted in IT Discussion
Saw this one today and thought that it looked really interesting. With the latest release of ownCloud, now on version 7, you can connect ownCloud instances together to do server to server connections. ownCloud really seems to be doing some amazing stuff.
Anyone playing with it yet?

Finally a Linux Desktopposted in IT Discussion
After many years of working on Linux and having to access all of my servers from windows machines I finally have been allowed to have a Linux desktop at work.
It is glorious. Suddenly everything is so much easier. So much faster to do simple tasks. I am loving this. Only RHEL 5 right now but pushing to get a RHEL 7 system soon.

Getting into phones sounds cool but that market is effectively buttoned up at this point. Even MS can't make inroads.

RE: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Girl Dancingposted in Water Closet
She has a disease that makes her put on the weight. I don't think that she has much hope of losing the weight through dance. She clearly doesn't move like someone who put on the weight by being sedentary. She is in shape just can't keep the weight off.

@thecreativeone91 unnecessary escalation on your part. Sorry, but that's how I read it.
Uh, I didn't escalate anything, I posted that it needed a windows license, and then I get chew out.
I'm pretty much done with all these IT forums. It's just full of this crap. I'm going back to the Live Sound forums people are much nicer.
I think it's the tone you are taking, just like now. Why are you so confrontational? If you have a problem with moderation over there, here isn't really the place to discuss it. It's better to talk to a CM about it.
I've read it and I don't see him being confrontational. He stated the reasons for why he didn't pay for a license and why he felt it wouldn't apply here and everyone acted like he never said that and then it got weird.
