I woke up to a thin layer of yellow mud on my truck this morning. The little bit of rain we had last night didn't help much, lol.
We actually got enough rain to wash out yesterday's pollen. And when the yellow mud bums me out, I just look at blooming cherry trees and smile. And then sneeze.

Just finished filling my Taxes Not getting much back but I literally doubled my income from a year ago today.

Me too. I purposely take home less per check so I get back more in the spring, because saving money is tough.

Great, the day I need to go grocery shopping. No bread for me tonight.
Always wondered why people buy bread before a storm, why not canned goods that'll be good in a week even without power?
But... but... We ALWAYS buy bread before a storm! Milk, not so much, lol.
If you're not flooded in, starting a fire with stuff on hand isn't terrible (Never actually had to do that though). I'd eat uncooked canned foods if it was a choice between starving or eating and I had no fire. But I usually keep some stuff that doesn't require cooking at hand too -- at least a day or two worth. Otherwise, I have to break out the squirrely rifle and go hunting -- and would still need fire, ha ha.
Last big power outage, I was glad to discover that my gas stove works without electricity. But all we cooked was a pot of coffee.

I used to use a 40 cup percolator (the kind you use for church socials) every day. Trust me, there comes a point when you say "enough" and 40 cups is about it.
If you push through to cup 100, you start to glow and everything around you goes in slow motion. Handy for saving people from burning buildings and whatnot.

Apparently Dell / EMC has outsourced their sales dicks to India... and now it sounds just like talking to their support. Broken english, thick accent, stiffly reading off a script.
You need to get the pro support if you want otherwise.
You're calling the wrong number then, and not actually getting pro support. It basically direct to someone in the US. This was as of a few months ago and doubt it changed.
US or overseas doesn't matter, I despise having a phone stuck to my ear for any length of time. On a support chat, I get better results with no direct human interaction, and I can still do other things while I'm on the chat.
If you had the right place on the phone, it's just you telling them what you need and them either sending you the part or sending out a tech. Always quick.
Maybe the boss here has the right number, because the time I called the "pro support" number on their website, I got a level 1 script monkey who could barely read, let alone actually provide any support. But, like I said before, I'd rather get stabbed in the ear than be on a phone call for 30 seconds, so I don't call support unless there is literally no other option.
Finally got around to watching about half of Love, Death, and Robots. Loved every minute of it.
Anyone ever try black rice? It's awesome, looks kinda purple when it's cooked.

This is absolutely critical at my house. My daughter is half Japanese after all.
If she doens't know this stuff, she is ostracized when she is in school in Japan.
I'm glad I don't go to school in Japan. I've had friends try to convince me that this or that anime is life changing and awesome, but I just can't get into any of it.
