Not really much of a list.
Santa Clarita Diet is a funny show, glad to see a new season of that.

I don't think all need to be tar and feathered. One a year as a sacrifice to get the others to fall in line should suffice.
One per year after all the current ones have been rehabilitated, as a maintenance dose.

@wrx7m don't feel bad, I've got $400k+ worth of 1:1 physical servers that will be about useless once they become virtual (all 1u, 2.5" backplane). We could have had a level 1 and a substantial raise for me.

Might be time to put on something purple...

because you aren't here to learn.
How did such clueless people advance then? Their inability to learn has been a constant point of contention. Clearly, something not true there.
It's not inability to learn .
Its not having time to learn because I'm leaving 1.5 hour early everyday for 5 days at a time .
If you're taking your lunch at 3:30, then really you're only leaving 30 mins early, assuming you work 8-5 with a 1 hour lunch.
that is correct -
Then your bosses are just looking for a reason to not let you advance. And that's extra shitty considering they know you have a family and all. Seems like they would be trying to help you advance, because kids are expensive.

@scottalanmiller no idea what movie that is, but now I feel a sudden urge to crack that guy in the throat with a cricket bat.
That's a REALLY famous movie. "Bring It On"
And that single frame makes me glad I never saw it.
yea I tried to watch it, it was hot garbage
Bring It On is actually good. If you like campy teen movies. It's by far one of the best. The sequels are ridiculous, of course. But the original had a stellar cast and was a pretty important industry influencer (hence inclusion in NATM which itself was the foundation of a genre.)
And those parodies are hilarious, but when the subject of a parody is so utterly lacking depth, the viewer can absorb the original film's message by only watching the parody. It's much easier on the viewer's constitution.

Just found out that Nick Mason, Pink Floyd's original drummer, is touring. Playing Syd Barrett era stuff. And tickets are $180. I hate to admit that I'm actually considering it.

I think we are making Irish pasties for dinner tonight, assuming we can find some ground lamb.
Oh nice.
We've gotten pretty good at hand pies. GF is good with the pastry, I make the fillings. And there are styles from 'round the globe we haven't made yet.
I want to learn to make a great root veggies wellington.
The filling would be easy, it's that long, Wellington shape that makes it hard to cook right. I've done a full tilt beef Wellington before, turned out ok but it's hard to avoid the soggy bottom.
Soggy bottom is tough. I've had a perfect root veggie (rutabaga) in Stratford upon Avon at the local pub, it was amazing.
I can honestly say I've never tried rutabaga. I'm a big fan of root veggies in general, might have to try some.

I love them. @pchiodo grew up in a town with a rutabaga festival!
I think maybe they don't grow as well in GA, so they are far less prevalent than taters or parsnips.

Looking at used canoes and kayaks online. I need a boat.
for recreation?
Cause we need it locally to go see friends/
For recreation, mostly fishing, but paddling a boat around can be good exercise too. If I was using it as transportation, I'd probably want a motor.
