RE: Happy Virus Day!
The bosses are treating us all to wings and beer at a local spot... something like 50 taps and 150 bottles at any time. And we get to leave an hour early!

@RojoLoco Definitely worth trying out if you have the hardware to support it. I found out that it makes my GPU overheat. I had to take the cover off the side of my case this weekend because I was seeing the temps creep up near 85c. After the cover off it stayed below 82c. I think I need to take a look at my case fan placement...
I won one of the Alienware Alpha consoles (cheap one, i3 and 5400 rpm spinner). Next paycheck will probably get an SSD and more RAM, I hope it will rock out after the upgrade.

RE: Dealing with panic attacks...
Make sure you are getting plenty of sleep (I know that seems like a daunting task itself). From what you've listed above, I would try to part time one of your full time things. Sounds like school is a real source of stress, maybe go part time on that.
Is your GF pulling her weight financially? I would love having someone to pay half my mortgage and bills. If she's not, that's a BIG stress causer.
There are many herbal remedies for stress, both legal and semi-legal. The semi-legal kind works much better, but some valerian root or kava kava will do wonders considering you can buy them at a health food store. Use the liquid extract in either case.
Exercise, in any form, can help as well. Work out w/ weights, take a jog or a swim, do yoga (good place to start),
The recipe for stress relief that works for me is: No gf, no kids, no school. Eat, drink, smoke, and f@ck what you want, repeat as needed. Life is for living, don't forget that....

@RojoLoco Thanks for the correction. I have always just referred to it as Prosumer, but if SOHO is the correct term, I will start using that. Thanks!
I read "prosumer", then a bunch of networking terms.... confusing.

I can attest to this problem.
I was driving back from JB's part of the country (Chicago) and when from a dense wooded area to an open plain where the winds has enabled ice to form over the road.
I did the wrong thing and let off the gas as we approached and the instant we touched that ice we started spinning - luckily the built in auto-stabilizer in the Prius did it's thing and halted the spin and kept us straight and on the road!
At least the Prius can do limited 4 wheel drive as well when needed. They really don't impress on gas millage, but that doesn't make them bad cars (especially for winter driving!)
Unless the snow is higher than their bottle cap wheels
No worries, the driver's smug will lift the prius up and out of any hazardous road conditions....

Paging @ChrisL
In So. Cal., why should one consider/choose http://www.colocationamerica.com/data-center vs Quadranet/Corp Colo/Psychz?
When you're NTG, and they throw you a free year. Great way for a colo to get considered, especially with the publicity generated by doing so.

American Medicine
WRONG. American medicine hasn't cured a damn thing since the 1950s... and with anti-vaxxers making babies, we're about overdue for a polio outbreak at Disneyland.
