Thanks to whoever tagged this.
I am the worst at that. The worst.
I might actually be worse. Not for certain, but possible.
Have you ever tagged anything?
If so you aren't worse.
Honestly I don't think I ever have.
This is why we can't have nice things.

Debating the Linux Distro with my recent use of Fedora - I either adapt to the difference or do something different.
Also searching ML for discussion on the Great Linux Debate. What desktop environment are you using?
There are some slight yet noticeable differences between the ones I have running right now:
- Ubuntu
- LinuxMint
- Fedora
Not which distro, which desktop? Like Mate, Gnome, KDE, LXQt.

When putting 14TB on a single 3.5” box, the extra speed is important to get data on and off of there. That’s gotta take forever to fill.
100TB SSDs are going to have that problem, too.

I have Ubuntu 18.04 and Deepin and it works great although Deeping uses a different UI.
What desktop environment are you using on ubuntu?
Gnome
I’ve got 18.04 with KDE.
Have you tried ubuntu Budgie 18.04?
No. I only have the one 18.04 instance.
Ubuntu Budgie 18.04 looks pretty nice.

That's a great looking desktop.

RE: Seagate Shows Off World's Fastest Hard Driveposted in News
@thwr seems like it has to be capacity. The 100TB SSD is, I would guess, ridiculously expensive. This would be for affordable capacity, I would have to think.
That 100TB drive is going to start having some serious problems getting enough data on or off through the SAS bus. The Mach.2 will still be constrained by the mechanics, but not nearly as much as a traditional 15K drive would be.

RE: Seagate Shows Off World's Fastest Hard Driveposted in News
It's interesting that Seagate feels that continuing to invest in spinning drive technology continues to make sense today. That has to be really expensive research that they are doing. Great that they are squeezing more performance from the technology, but will that additional performance and additional sales that it generates, offset the research cost versus investing more into solid state technologies?
Maybe if this was a 200% increase in performance, or a 1,000% increase. But only 60% seems like it would be exceptionally hard to justify unless it was somehow tied to a huge leap in density or drop in manufacturing cost.

I don't see a lot of use for Docker in IT circles. Good for testing out a product, but not how you want to run it when you are really getting down to brass tacks.

I just tried a web browser to see what appliance I would hit, and it goes straight to OWA.
Just port forwarding, most likely.
So you're thinking that 'Exchange' coincidentally is what hostname was given to the vpn service.
Exactly, that's what I'm thinking. Someone was thinking of the VPN as existing to access OWA, so named it Exchange.
