@eddiejennings The symptom is that basically anyone that uses the Reflexion email filtering service cannot set us emails. We have whitelisted all IP. for Reflexion. We have worked with Mimecast to make sure they are not blocking anything. Our only thoughts are its Reflexion and the way they are handling multiple MX records that have the same priority. Thanks for your input. That is why I like this group.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@popester Turns out Mimecast instructs you to put matching priority on both records. The plot thickens...... Going straight to WTF mode.

Discovering and fixing a former employee DNS screw up. The mail filtering service we use has two different MX targets and the priority was set the same for both entries. Turns out a lot of problems occur when you do this.
It shouldn’t unless the mail filter system isn’t designed to handle it
I am not sure which provider Mimecast or Rexflexion is the one having the issue with it. I am hitting the books on DNS MX record priority in the mean time.

RE: Trusted source for learning Cloud Backup
@scottalanmiller I really, truly appreciate your patience and willingness to help. Thank you. I have reached out to the service to see what connection the vendor offers. It is Cloudsafe for those that would like to know.
Again thank you, I am really glad I found this group, everyone is top notch.

Trusted source for learning Cloud Backup
Sorry guys, a real noob here. I have been given the task of making the connection between the cloud service and our backup server which is running Veeam. We have a Meraki firewall which in theory should make it simple. This is an opportunity for me to get a real grasp of Best Practice and a hands on experience with doing enterprise to cloud connectivity safely. If you can think of any articles that helped you it would be met with extreme gratitude. I realize this is not enough information to help provide a solid answer and am sorry for that. I am just a squirrel trying to get a nut. Thanks guys. And Ladies.

RE: Windows Server 2012R2 DHCP Server Memory Leak?
My reference was very unprofessional and I would like to apologize to the group. I will refrain from such sophomoric behavior in the future. This is not the venue for such things. Thank you.

@scottalanmiller You can only put off IPv6 for so long. Eventually you will be assimilated. No pun intended.

RE: Windows Server 2012R2 DHCP Server Memory Leak?
@popester It was an older article on 2012 R2. It appears that the problems created by disabling IPv6 are growing with Server 2016. This may become a "prison sex" scenario.

RE: Windows Server 2012R2 DHCP Server Memory Leak?
@scottalanmiller That could be the part I missed. I will have to find the article again and get back to you. Thanks.

RE: Windows Server 2012R2 DHCP Server Memory Leak?
@scottalanmiller I read that IPv6 was used by some windows system services and that disabling it would slow the system. Did I misunderstand the article or was it just wrong?

Figuring out that attending "virtual events" while you are at work is a bad idea. The interruptions make learning near impossible. Next virtual event I schedule will be from home or the nearest coffee shop.
