There's almost no need for QoS when you have this kind of upload speed. It would be tough to saturate that baby.

The best price is usually Amazon on them.

Baltic Networks is the best I have seen.

I'm a little surprised no one has mentioned not pushing e-mail to conserve battery life.

I love Yealink T3X series for the general user (specifically the T32G). They are rock solid and super easy to setup with Elastix. The T38G are good too, and we have had success with the super elegant T46G also.

The T46G adds Bluetooth, does it not?

Indeed it does. Our executives like that. 🙂

Honestly I miss the old 3CXPhone that worked with non-3CX systems. Aside from that, Zoiper works pretty well too. I really need to test Linphone when I have time.

I just figured you got your e-mails telepathically, Scott. That way you can respond as quickly as possible.

    • Do You Push Your E-mail?

Despite being one of those folks who has to have e-mail on my phone, a while back I stopped pushing my e-mail to it several months ago. Now I just check it when I check it, and I am not tempted to pick up my phone when I am spending time with my family that needs to be just their time with me. So am I the only radical out there who doesn't push his e-mail? Do you find that pushing e-mail to your phone makes you a slave to it in a way?

So if I understand correctly, you are saying 5 out of 6 computers can connect to your database. I'd start by checking the logs on your main SQL server to see if there may be some kind of authentication errors.

On your pc or the Drobo? I have a B800i, and it has a USB 2.0 plug on the back. Did it change that some point after they started making this babies?

Does it? Maybe I just forgot, lol.

Mine does. That is all I can verify.

Try connecting directly to it with a USB cable from the computer that has Drobo Dashboard on it. That should find it for sure and let you look at ip settings, etc. I've had to do it a couple of times.

If I saw numbers like that, I'd be looking for what went wrong. No way that's real!

If only I had a Dropbox account big enough to try and upload a full backup of all my servers I would be able to tell you.

    • Can Someone Explain These Speeds?

      50.50.Charter.png

We just got 50 / 50 Mbps fiber in our main office and will be moving to it this weekend. Check out the upload speed! This is just a guess, but I think my SIP and RTP traffic will be fine on this circuit.

But seriously, I was told when Charter runs fiber, it is capable of running up to 1 Gb speeds. I figured either Charter loves me (which is likely it), or they may not know they've left us with that kind of upload speed.

Has anyone seen something like this happen on a symmetric speed circuit?
