I know a couple of years ago voipsupply.com carried quite a bit of Yealink gear, but I have not had a need to buy from them in quite a while.

version
currently VMware latest version 6.5 on IT industry
Make sure you're installing 6.5U1 and not just 6.5. Are you using a Windows vCenter or the appliance? Remember that Windows vCenter support will be disappearing soon - https://blogs.vmware.com/vsphere/2017/08/farewell-vcenter-server-windows.html.
I'd start with this series of posts by one of the Technical Marketing Managers at VMware - https://blogs.vmware.com/vsphere/2017/05/vsphere-6-5-upgrade-considerations-part-1.html. I believe there are 2 other articles he has written about it.

RE: Site-to-Site VPN between Cisco ASA and Meraki MX: The KB I Wish Meraki Had Written

@networknerd I will check out the blog as well thank you. Btw: just to give you an update, I had to do 2 more things to get a stable tunnel and that is set the 2nd Phase Lifetime to be lower than the Phase 1 and remove other encryption policies on the ASA. For example, I used for Phase One 3DES, SHA, DH Group 2 and Lifetime 86400 and for Phase 2 I used AES192, SHA, PFS Off and Lifetime 28800. On the ASA side, I disabled the IKev2 and for the Encryption Policy I only left enabled what you see above, plus obviously matched the time to 28800. I got stable tunnel then. Before these changes the tunnel kept dropping.
That's great information to have. Thanks for sharing!

I hope to have a more formalized write up of some of the cool features of both G Suite and O365 in the next couple of days.

RE: DFW SpiceCorps - 9/12/2017
@r3dpand4 I'm afraid the November meeting will be on a Tuesday (not yet posted). But we can move to Thursday evening for a future event (or even Monday). Sometimes Monday is not the best day for people. And I try to avoid Wednesdays since that is a church night for some folks.

Hi NetworkNerd,
I SIMPLY HAD TO create an account to say BIG THANK YOU for putting this together, so thoroughly and being so pedantic about details (just like me) with all information that one could possibly need. It saved my "bacon" two days ago when setting up S2S VPN between MX84 and ASA5510. I couldn't work out why it doesn't sync. Without your KB I'd have to reschedule an important project so again, thank you. I can only hope you got more of these coming.
You are most welcome. I'm so glad it helped someone! It was too crazy of a situation not to tell the story. I have more articles if you search for the networknerd blog tag in Mangolassi (https://mangolassi.it/tags/networknerd blog). And, I've recently created my own personal blog at http://blog.thenetworknerd.com that I try to update regularly with different content.

@NetworkNerd There is an Upstate NY VMUG UserCon coming up 10/5. Based on your recommendation I'm going to try and attend! Thanks!
Where is that one?

https://www.vmug.com/Attend/VMUG-UserCon/Upstate-NY-VMUG-UserCon-2017Definitely go if you can. Sometimes the technical marketing folks from VMware come too and answer whatever questions you want to ask. After all, the price is right (free).

If You're Close to DFW and Can't Go to Spiceworld...Go to DFW VMUG UserCon!
Spiceworld is coming in just a few short weeks, but not everyone can get approval to be away from work for 2-3 days. If you're close to Dallas / Fort Worth, I have an alternative for you.
Check out the DFW VMUG UserCon - this is a FREE event on 10/10 put on by the DFW VMware User Group (or VMUG). Whether you are a VMware shop or not, it's still a great event to attend with various vendors you might not see at Spiceworld. In addition to this, there are networking opportunities with people who are big in the virtualization space. Don't expect every session to be just about VMware stuff either. Expect to hear about things like containers, DevOps, and career development.
The keynote will be given by Scott Lowe. And if you were someone who read the Mastering vSphere book series on vSphere version 5 or earlier, he's the one who wrote them. He's a super humble guy and a wealth of knowledge.
Take a day off work to come hang out with some really smart people. And take notes for me since I can't be there in person.
You can also subscribe to the DFW VMUG (or a VMUG in your area) and get alerted when they have quarterly meetings (usually an all day free event).

RE: FOP2 - Licensing Terms
I love FOP2! We would roll it out back in the Elastix days with any implementation because FOP2 was amazing then. I'm sure it's still very good. If memory serves, the license is tied to a specific version of FOP2, but you do get the license forever.

RE: DFW SpiceCorps - 9/12/2017
For those who could not make it, this was a great meeting and another example of how great the content we as attendees can create when we are together and share our experiences. I'll post links to videos, etc. hopefully by this weekend. Many thanks to @scottalanmiller for being a part of the completely fluid O365 panel we had.

RE: Spiceworld Trip Cancelled Due to CA Legislation - Alternate Conference Suggestions?
I've heard good things about DevOps Days - https://www.devopsdays.org/events as well as the Powershell and DevOps Global Summit- https://eventloom.com/event/home/summit2017 (sold out currently).
I might also look at local VMUG UserCons (free to attend, usually for an entire day, interesting content even if you are not a VMware shop).

RE: Yealink Phone Provsioning Strategy
Just out of curiosity, which PBX are you using in conjunction with the Yealink phones?
I realize this does not scale well, but when we rolled out Yealink phones,we ended up doing a manual configuration of each phone. It was simple and didn't require us to configure some kind of provisioning server. But in truth, I always wanted to setup a provisioning server to learn how to do it.

RE: DFW SpiceCorps - 9/12/2017
We're only 6 days away now, and I think we will have some great technical content. Definitely come out if you can join us!

If vSAN Powered The Matrix...
After finding out I was approved to attend VMworld this year, I signed up to present a vBrownBag Tech Talk on VMware vSAN. Just a few weeks before the conference, I was lucky to secure an official slot on the agenda for Thursday afternoon. The idea for the talk was pretty simple and was inspired based on the talk @scottalanmiller asked me to do at the DFW Mango Meetup a while back. If vSAN powered The Matrix, would we plan it carefully like an enterprise technology rather than trying to run it on whatever hardware is available in the server closet? Is cost really a barrier to people using this technology, or are there ways to save money and still harness the power of VMware vSAN? What are some other pitfalls to be aware of? Watch the video, and see for yourself [VMTN6733U]. I hope you will find it helpful.
