RE: What Are You Doing Right Now

What is everyone using for basic ticket management these days?
Our Sales Coordination team is looking to have a very basic ticketing system to help track some of their activities. They are looking for the following:
- Email to ticket creation and tracking (future emails go into the ticket)
- Cat and Subcat of ticket
- Ticket Status: OPEN, WORKING ON, WAITING FOR MORE INFO, CLOSED
- When in the status of working on, keeping track of time working on ticket
- Ticket Notes
- accept attachmets. Mostly documetns but ocaasionally zip files
REPORTING: Needs to have good reporting
Right now, we use ManageEngine SDP for our I-T ticketing and asset management. This would work for the Coordinators but they do not need the whole ITIL model nor any asset management or remote control capabilities. I am going to look at Zoho's DESK package (Free for up to 10 users) , and looking for other recommendations.

RE: What is everyone using for basic ticket management these days?
so the group decided to go with Zoho's solution as it provides the basic functions they are looking for and its free for up to 10 users (there's 3 on that team). Thanks everyone for the suggestions and we will definitely keep our eyes on SodiumSuite.

RE: Phyiscal Access Control Systems - Recommendations?
We use ADT and their Brivo system for all our offices. Since it's alarm and access it may be overpriced for the SMB. The door controls all have battery backup in them and I have a ups on it too

RE: How do ISPs get business?
Paetec basically bragged to us they were buying Windstream . Our Sales Rep, the Master Account Rep even one of the VP's came to our office and said "buying" not "being bought". Proof though is in the pudding as you can see from @JaredBusch

RE: Replacement Software?
We've been using Zoho Desk for just basic ticketing for one of my teams and so far its been working well. They have the full ServiceDesk product if you want the whole RMM.inventory experience but watch out their sales group gets very aggressive

RE: Dell Precision T1600 - Windows 10 installer stuck
UEFI needs FAT32, and the standard Win10 .wim file is larger that 4GB so it won't fit correctly. I have found I need to split the wim file. This is a bit old but the script here works for me:
https://p0w3rsh3ll.wordpress.com/2016/10/30/how-to-create-uefi-bootable-usb-media-to-install-windows-server-2016/
I change the '/FileSize:4096' parameter to '/FileSize:2048' and that seems to work better -
RE: ERP for small manufacturer w/web integration
Have you looked at Zoho's packages to see if they would fit your bill? I know they have a inventory management application as par of their finance package but have never used it. I'm just now looking at their CRM and Desk applications for one of our divisions here.
