Check this and you should get the contact details based on the location http://support.kaspersky.com/b2b#

thanks for the link, but i can't find any nearest country and the majority of mobile numbers not working 😞

That suggests that this is not a product that you want to be paying for. I'd look at alternatives.

Webroot is here in the community, for example.

      i didn't understand you well
we already bought 2 volume licenses (25 and 15)
      thanks

      i

Can you get your money back? Sounds like they are not providing the support.

off course i can't, i already use the licenses for a period of time, but now i want to manage my workstations centrally

I'm just guessing, but maybe changed made centrally take some time before they are applied locally?

i don't think so because even after a period of time the setting will not be changed on the local machine 😞

the previous version (KSOS 3 and 2) were great, they allow remote management without the need of the cloud, you can manage your computers via LAN without the need of the cloud,

the new version is really bad regarding remote management

also their support is very very bad, i post a question in their forum 14 days ago, till now i didn't get any single answer

    • Cannot Control My Desktop from Center Kaspersky

      Hi everybody

i have 2 volume licence of (25 desktop and 3 File Servers) & (15 desktop and 2 File Servers), recently i learn that you can manage your desktop and servers by using https://center.kaspersky.com, off course after registering your machines with your email so that you can manage them from a central location which is great, till now i can see the licenses status of all my machines but the problem is i cannot manage them, for example if i disable a feature in the center.kaspersky.com it will not be applied on the machine, so is there any setting i have to do to let the center.kasprsky.com manage my machines ??

for example when i disable the firewall, the button keep showing progress without any action as shown on the following image

      0_1449417560572_mUNtnnk.png

then it says : Could not send the command. Please try again later.

      thank you very much

so the project will be like this :
i have 2 dell poweredge T310, i will take one of them, then P2V, take the V in external storage, then format the server, install XenServer on it, host 2 VM in it (one VM for DC and File Server and the second VM for Application Server)
the problem now is that i cannot buy anymore windows server 2008 R2 key,
i need this key to activate the VM, because after i deploy the VM (that i P2V previously it will ask me for the key and me do not have the key)

i learn something is that the best time to ask for a budget is the time of disaster,
because while everything is runing fine, you will not take easily a budget from the management

LOL!!! You are in exact same boat as me! But it took me 2 whole months to persuade them to go VMs. Nice job on that!.
There's a lot of thread on how to go visualization and different between each hypervisor.

As SAM has mentioned before in other thread Do you homework before purchasing hardware! Don't make the same mistake I did.

yes off course now that i have the budget i will learn what is the optimal way to go before doing anything

when we had that hardware failure we experienced one day and a half of downtime, i explained to the management if we had virtualization in place we would not have this difficult time, instead we will export the VM to another hipervisor without any issue, and they were pleased with the idea 🙂

We already know the the place where @IT-ADMIN is does not actually care about licensing.

finally after i show the advantage of virtualization to the management especially after that hardware issue i had few days ago, i finally convince them to buy 2 windows server licenses because i told them that for this project to be successful it is a must we have windows server licences and they agreed

thanks for the link, but i think it is not accurate because they didn't mention server 2008 as compatible OS whereas i'm using it

That you are using it does not imply that it is fully compatible or supported.

      i see your point

      SQL Server 2000

This is not my realm but this should answer your questions
      https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa175274(v=sql.80).aspx

Answer is "maybe" to "no". Some services that SQL server 2k utilize may not be available in 2008-2012.

      EDIT: wrong link. 😛
