      Estimated at seventeen hours.

WOW that's a long print. Didn't really know print times/speeds of 3D printers.
Good i wish Lockdown would be over! Going to help a mate set-up a "Games Club/Cyber Café" in his "old shop" and will have a 3D printer for people to use.

Installed my first CentOS stream today for a ELK stack

I'm definitely in the "not deploying any more CentOS" camp now.

      Any perticular reason?
If you were spinning one up what would you use?

why anyone would choose IIS over all the other faster alternatives I don't know.

Legacy product, waiting to be replaced (this will be a good excuse to start 😃)

Same for @DustinB3403 all legacy stuff and ways of doing things (some people don't like change)
      Slowly trying to move things.

Just looking at a document for PCI compliance.

      • Implementing only one primary function per server to prevent functions that require different security levels from co-existing on the same server?

to me that's a VM per function?
e.g. before seeing this i was about to spin up a new VM that will be a file server (we have reasons for it not being cloud) then also a IIS site, run a password expiring messaging program (this was done by someone else, i'm sure there's a easier Free way of doing it).
But to me that says each of those functions should be on their own VM?

    • RE: Raspberry Pi 4 as IT Workstation

Not used a Pi for a while.
What happens when you issue a halt -p type command? Does it power the Pi off like a normal machine, then pulling the power in/out is then needed to power back up?

Never heard of or seen these before. Are they only used mostly in Asia? Seems like a smaller company.

Seem them a lot specially with the "Budget" ISP's.

We also had them in 60 odd stores for the MPLS connections.

True the title is a bit limiting. But why not just say 🙂 "use a better option" 🙂

Deciding on what to buy with my $10 coupon from Epic Games. Right now I'm looking at Tropico 5 and Cities Skylines.

Epic have been doing a free game each day for last few days. Tropico 5 was one of them 😬

You'd never use one of the viable Asterisk distros like FreePBX or VitalPBX, let alone an old, dead one like Elastix.

Thought a few people were using FreePBX/VitalPBX here ?

You completely took that out of context.

Sorry my bad, went back through and I'll hold my hands up on that 😬
