Whoot - Creality Ender 3 Pro was under the tree... While it was missing one screw - it's leveled and running a test print.

WHOOT - Been wanting one, and now I get to make all kinds of things.... for giggles.

Bored and can't sleep. First print finished after 5hr39min. The sample included. Printed nicely for dang near out of the box.

While I wait for a spool of filament, will print off some 'mods', starting with a new selector wheel... This is gonna be fun.

I’ve only had it three weeks, about to actually use it maybe 10 days.

Reading and learning in the down time, different softwares, slicer settings and mechanics.

When working to support 911 systems we used half rack on wheels. Most very small county PSAP are to small to have a full anchored rack. They could be pushed back when access wasn’t needed, and of course out when needed.

Since emergency calls where being handled by these things, they of course had to be secure.

Doing a bit of QC of the latest 3D print before really worrying about work.

It’s an 18650 to 2- D battery case. It should any ‘inline’ two D-cell battery device, like a flashlight. Overall, it printed just fine. Just have to fabricate the center conductor..

Debating if I should create an account to share 3D Prints. Created a very simple key that opens paper towel dispensers. Not like it was difficult or really that much of a challenge.

Also looking at employments sites- trying to compile a good list for a co-worker and - well why not- myself if needed.

Since it’s a greenfield- I’d pick one vendor for networking,.. UBNT has been solid for me personally and the times I have deployed as a replacement... one single configuration tool

I am designing a case that will hold a digital radio gateway and power. It’s based on a Raspberry pi Zero.

A MMDVM or Multi Mode Digital Voice Modem, instead of using a power power bank, it’ll be all one unit.

Sad state for my hardware - I only have my old old laptop with 4GB memory and 120GB SSD.

Of course, I'm only replacing the rPi3+ running pi-Hole and the UBNT controller. Neither of which need a gui.
