Hello everyone
Now, I am using some VMs on XenServer and looking for the most suitable backup software.
The wide spectrum of these products dazzles me. Could you do me a favour to recommend me some?Thanks a lot in advance.
Veeam Backup and Replication is hands down insanely great, and free up to 10 backed up systems.
Free with limits and no administrative function or completely limitless and has administration functions...

Wondering why the heck anyone would sell a microserver, and then to make it worse it has no server functionality at all.
No out of band management, no capacity for raid (besides Windows) or Linux MD (which I can't use Linux) oh and then a Windows 10 Pro license with it as well...
and what makes it a "server"?
My guess is the label, marketing or lead salesman.
Yeah the name on the front of the box. It's a "MicroServer Gen10"

Maybe this should go under "I can't Even..." thread? lol
Yeah, but what makes it even worse and I just thought about it is that 2 Western Digital "Compute" 1TB disks were sold with it as well, 3.5" spinning rust.
So yeah.... I'm done asking why and when it burns to the ground I'll take the beating, fix the issue, charge the customer and move on...

Apple releases fix for zero click vulnerability in all apple devices
If you haven't seen it, update your apple gear now. A zero click has been discovered, created by NSO, that allows for zero click ownership of any Apple Device.

Sorry, I did not get my question clear.
I am using XCP-ng Hypervisor and hoping to get a backup solution combining backup with management. Any good advice?
Yes, xen orchestra like @Danp recommended.
Edit as I didn't add it last night you can use my github process to install the Open Source edition without having to do much of anything, follow this link.

@dustinb3403 There is no native log rotation in Exchange for IIS, I have these scripts to clear that.
Yeah I know, which I why I was cursing the person who setup the server without configuring any log rotation

@laksh1999 - From the looks of it, you are trying to run setup.exe from C:\Windows\System32. Fix the path to wherever you installation media is located.
ex: D:\setup.exe
Tried from D drive got this error
That is telling you that it doesn't know about the /PrepareSchema option. Try running setup without that option.
Additionally your option of "/IAcceptExchangeLiceseTerms" is spelled incorrectly.
Try this link (guessing based on your screenshot)

Done That but not working , how can I can I get to the source Code or which source code can I check and where (location).
Best Regards
Check the github, the software is opensource so you can change anything you want.
But that value is within the database, and changing it manually will very likely cause you more headaches than changing it through the web interface.
@dapdomma Settings > Companies
You would change "BUA GROUP" there.
Edit: It appears that your installation wasn't setup properly based on the broken image links, unless you removed them yourself...
@dapdomma you're installation looks like it is having some issues. But to change the company name you would go to
Settings > Companies
And change it within there.
Where I'm at right now it's kind of a nanny state, where staff are scolded like children if you're late, and maybe complemented if you've worked late.
I too would be interested in something like this, but in practical terms I don't know if it would work for my current poe.

Are you referring to Citrix Hypervisor or XCP-NG? Do you only need a backup solution or would a full management solution be better?
@dapdomma said in Snipe-IT 500 Server error:
@dustinb3403
please is what are the other ways to install Snipe-it.Thanks
They have an installation process or the git process, both are very simply to follow and install. Since I don't know how you installed, I can only suggest you try the other method or to go to https://gitter.im/snipe/snipe-it and ask for assistance there.
@dapdomma I'd jump into the snipe-it support chat, I don't recall what the link is off hand but that'll be your fastest way to getting an answer.
@dapdomma I'd take a look at the troubleshooting docs.
